Research resources

In general, any given research project follows a trajectory of activities. [describe briefly here and link to relevant sections of website?]

Every project is unique though. If you have collected data, you’ll be the one creating the inventory and maybe transcribing, and the process of doing that provides an overview and close look into what you have in the recordings. If you are entering a project after data collection and transcription have been completed, it may be more important for you to find a different way to “soak” in the data.

Many of these activities happen in parallel, many are mutually informed, like you may articulate the rationale for your analysis, but then as you begin to identify and define what you are interested in, you realize something new about the rationale, suggesting you might want to refine it.

  1. create an inventory
  2. transcribe
  3. articulate the rationale for your analysis
